Wellington School Cycling Supremo

Wellington School Year 8 pupil Evan Richards continues his cycling triumphs.

He competed in the Regional Track Omnium in Cardiff over the weekend. After five gruelling events, he finished 3rd overall. This was a tremendous performance as he is currently only in his first year in the Under 14 category beating boys a full year older than him. He has now qualified to compete in the National Omnium Championships

Evan has had a really successful year in cycling track event.  He rounded off the Spring Track League at Newport Velodrome with wins in the Scratch, Longest Lap and Elimination races last night. He was the youngest rider.
