Wellington Prep School Harvest Festival Delights

13 Nov 2015

The pupils from Wellington Prep School celebrated the Harvest Festival in robust style. The chapel was packed to the rafters with parents, grandparents, friends and pupils, the organ was beautifully played by John Young and some splendid songs reverberated around. The congregation especially enjoyed the song “Thank You for Almost Everything..(except for Brussel sprouts and cottage cheese!)

The School chaplain, Reverend Hellier, delivered a thought-provoking sermon on hunger and the congregation were surprised to realise that when we order a pizza, the ingredients come a total of 23,000 miles!

The children presented a sensitive and entertaining service and collected harvest gifts which will be sent to the Taunton Association for the Homeless.
