Josephine Steiskal and Heather Macdonald have been selected for the South-West of England Schools U18 ISFA squad and will play in the ISFA inter-regional tournament on 16th March.
Josi has played football at Malvern since joining in the Remove three years ago and has developed in to a fine attacking midfielder, with the ability to score from long range. She has also achieved the accolade of selection for the ISFA National Squad. Heather has played football at Malvern since the Foundation Year, starting off in goal but over the past two seasons moving to midfield where she has impressed with her excellent passing and dribbling.
“It is great to see Josi and Heather’s skills recognised in their selection for what is a very strong South-West of England squad as the sport is growing rapidly among independent schools”, says Mr Joe Gauci, teacher i/c Girls’ Football at Malvern.
