TRINITY TRIATHLON 2015 – ENTRIES ARE NOW OPEN!
20 Jan 2015
Trinity School is proud to announce that entries for its fifth children’s triathlon are now open. Trinity Triathlon 2015 will take place on Sunday 28th June and is open to children aged 8-19. Entry forms for each category are now available to download from http://www.trinity-school.org/trinity-triathlon.
Set up as a legacy to the Olympic Games, the Trinity Triathlon has enjoyed growing success since its inception and is now one of the biggest of its kind in the UK. Volunteers from the School community and Crystal Palace Triathlon Club, the event mentors, as well as the pre-planned road closure by TFL for the cycling event, will once again be crucial to the smooth running of the Triathlon and the enjoyment of participants and spectators alike.
The 2015 event has two important new features; it will accept a higher number of entries (up to 500) and the very youngest Tristart competitors will, for the first time, cycle on the closed road giving them the real triathlon experience just like the older entrants.
Rob Brookman from Trinity School, Event Organiser, said: “I am very excited to announce the opening of entries for the 2015 Trinity Triathlon. It is now in its fifth year and attracting more competitors than ever, including many from children for whom this will be their first triathlon. ”
