Trinity School, Croydon welcomes French Head Coach ahead of Rugby World Cup 2015

· Trinity School, Croydon has been selected as a Team Base for the French National Rugby Team in the forthcoming Rugby World Cup 2015.
·First official visit from the French Rugby Federation has been held
·France reached the Final in Rugby World Cup 2011 and will face Ireland, Italy, Canada and Romania in Pool D
·Philippe Saint- André, Head Coach & Manager, French National Rugby Team said: “The countdown really is on and we are looking forward to staying at Trinity School Croydon and experiencing Rugby World Cup 2015 not only in the match venues but in and around the local area.”
Trinity School, Croydon, a Team Base for Rugby World Cup 2015, has hosted their first official visit from the French Rugby Federation prior to Rugby World Cup 2015.
With less than nine months to go, the Tournament is fast approaching and planning for the France’s stay in Croydon is in full swing.
Head coach and French Rugby legend Philippe Saint- André was one of the party to visit the school in order to see first-hand the world class facilities that the school has to offer.
The tour party were very impressed with the set up and the facilities on offer. Philippe Saint- André commented: “The countdown really is on and we are looking forward to staying at Trinity School,Croydon and experiencing Rugby World Cup 2015 not only in the match venues but in and around the local area.”
Philippe also took time out to meet Trinity’s 1st XV and join in their video review session. Director of Rugby Aaron Liffchak said “It was great to get some input from someone who is so experienced and knowledgeable about the Game, the boys really absorbed everything that he had to say”.
France were finalists during RWC 2011 and Director of Sport, Matt Richbell commented: “We are all getting really excited about hosting a team as distinguished as France. The students and staff really enjoyed meeting some of the French coaching staff. We genuinely appreciate Philippe and his team taking so much time out of their busy schedule to talk to everyone.”.
