St Mary’s rated as Excellent in ISI Inspection

Our most recent inspection by the Independent School Inspectorate, gave us the highest possible outcome – describing both the quality of pupils’ academic achievements and their personal development, as excellent.
From our children’s ‘highly enthusiastic approach to learning’ and their ‘outstanding attitude to their studies’, to their collaborative and supportive behaviour, ‘strong social awareness’ and ‘excellent personal development’. the inspection team praised all aspects of life at St. Mary’s.
The inspectors noted that ‘Pupils’ highly enthusiastic approach to learning enables them to make excellent progress across the curriculum.”
The report highlighted the value that our specialist teaching team – including Science, Maths, English, French, Music, Art, PE and Drama, bring to our children’s learning: “Pupils exhibit excellent knowledge, understanding and skills across all areas of learning, facilitated by teachers who endeavour to bring the curriculum to life.”
At St. Mary’s, we approach each child as an individual, our more able children are challenged and stretched, and those requiring additional support enjoy structured support that ensure that they achieve their every best: “The individual attention paid to all pupils helps ensure they achieve their very best.”
