Spratton Hall School – county musicians

18 Sep 2017

Spratton Hall’s music department is a major part of the school.  Music is taught from Reception right up to Year 8 and from Year 1 the pupils start to play a musical instrument as well.  There are plenty of opportunities to shine at Spratton through music as there are many bands and ensembles that play in the frequent concerts, assemblies and church services.

Spratton Hall also have several pupils who have been selected to be part of one of the music ensembles run by the Northampton Music and Performing Arts Trust. Competition at the auditions to get into these ensembles is always very fierce, so it is a true accolade to Spratton Hall that so many of their pupils have been selected.

Phoebe with the Violin, Lauren and Amy with the Cello and Emily with the Clarinet are in County Junior Orchestra.

Amy is also in the Vocal County Junior Choir with Shanaya.

Camilla with the Saxophone and Millie with the Clarinet are in the County Junior Wind Orchestra.
