We are proud to announce another year of exceptional Sixth Form results, with students achieving outstanding success in both A Levels and BTECs. This year’s results highlight the dedication and perseverance of our students, supported by the expertise and commitment of our teaching staff.
Sherfield’s students have once again excelled, with an impressive 43% of grades awarded at A* to A, and 61% of all grades achieved at A* to B. These results demonstrate our commitment to academic excellence and the individual support we provide to ensure each student reaches their full potential. We are particularly proud of our Maths students, with over half of all A Level Maths grades being A or A*, highlighting the strength of our STEM programmes.
Our BTEC students have also achieved remarkable results, with 85% of grades awarded at Distinction or Distinction*. This is a testament to the rigorous and practical approach of our vocational courses, which equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their chosen fields.
In addition, our students have performed exceptionally well in the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), with all students achieving an A* grade, showcasing their independent research skills and deep subject knowledge. This year’s results have also secured an impressive breadth of university placements, with students heading to leading institutions such as the University of Exeter, University of Southampton, University of Bath, Loughborough University, University of Bristol and the Glion Institute of Higher Education in Switzerland.
“We are incredibly proud of our Sixth Form students and their outstanding achievements this year. These results reflect our students’ dedication, our staff’s expertise, and the supportive environment that Sherfield School provides. We are confident that our graduates are well-prepared for the next stages of their academic and professional journeys, and we wish them every success in the future.”
