Shrewsbury School – Top 10 Co-Educational Boarding School Award

Shrewsbury has been named by Best Schools as a Top 10 Co-Educational Boarding School based on our 2018 A Level results.

Deputy Head (Academic), Maurice Walters, was delighted by the news: “We aim to give our pupils very high aspirations from the outset, and this award is a testament not only to their talent and ability, but to the sheer level of energy and enthusiasm they have poured in to their studies. The most important thing for us is that they enjoy a vigorous and broad learning experience and that the grades offer them the opportunity to pursue their passions at a much higher level.”

The Best Schools Independent School League Tables are compiled each year from the exam results of students in UK private schools and colleges. Their rankings are based on the percentage of A Level entries awarded A* and A grades as well as the percentage of Pre-U grades from D1-M1.
