Now in its third year Inspire 2018 is a youth art competition for 5-19 year olds, this year taking its inspiration from colour. Entrants were challenged to demonstrate how they were inspired by colour or what colour meant to them. The entries displayed were selected by a judging panel formed of museum staff, local artists and young people.

Out of the 401 entries to the competition only 74 were selected for display and Jenny and Luke’s pieces were chosen as to be highly commended.

The exhibition which showcases the work of finalists and winners runs from the 22 July to 15 September and is free to enter.
