Northwood College A Level Success Once Again!
15 Aug 2013
Once again, Northwood College A Level results have been superb, with an almost 100% pass rate, nearly 50% achieving grades A*- A, 79.5% of girls achieving grades A*- B and almost all going to their first choice university. This continues the outstanding record of achievement of girls at Northwood College.
Out of the 51 girls who took A Levels, 15 achieved three A grades or above. Outstanding achievers include Katherine Lowe who obtained two A* grades and one A grade and is going on to Nottingham University to read Geography. Twins, Claire and Helen Middleton, achieved seven A grades between them. Claire is going to Southampton University to read Chemistry, whilst Helen is going to Bath University to read Bio-Chemistry.
Gabriella Steed achieved an A* and two A grades and is going on to Royal Holloway to study Psychology and Jade Gurton achieved four A grades and is going to Southampton University to study Mechanical Engineering and hopefully realise her dream of becoming a Formula 1 Race Engineer!
Head Mistress, Jacqualyn Pain said: “I am delighted with this fantastic set of results and would like to congratulate all the girls on their achievements.
