Nine Malvern College pupils receive Oxbridge offers

Applauding the success and determination of those who have been offered places at Oxford and Cambridge, Antony Clark, Headmaster of Malvern College, said: “These pupils have great flair and a keen focus and I am certain that they will enjoy the intellectual challenge and stimulation associated with life at Oxford or Cambridge”. He added that there were, in addition, no fewer than thirty-seven applicants to top American universities this year and that over the last two years Malvern pupils had gained places at Yale, Stanford, Princeton, Cornell, Brown, Johns Hopkins, Columbia and NYU, in addition to leading Canadian universities.
He said that he was delighted at the success of the Oxbridge applicants and wished them well for their examinations to be taken in the summer
