MILTON ABBEY ANNOUNCES DEPUTY HEADMASTER APPOINTMENT

Milton Abbey is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Deputy Headmaster, Matthew Way.
Matthew is currently Headmaster of St Petroc’s Prep School in Cornwall. Prior to that he was a Housemaster at Stowe School for six years where he was also Head of Boarding and Senior Housemaster. Before moving to Stowe he had been a Housemaster at Kelly College and master in charge of hockey. Matthew began his teaching career at Forres Sandle Manor, so brings to Milton Abbey experience in prep schools and senior schools.
Before joining the education world as a History teacher Matthew was an Infantry Officer in the British Army. His interests include sport – coaching and playing, in particular golf, cricket and hockey. In the past he has played hockey at International level for Wales. He also enjoys walking and reading – particularly political and historical biographies. He is married to Kate who is an Intensive Care Sister. Matthew and Kate have three children: James 10, Olivia 8 and Rosie 2.
The School looks forward to welcoming Matthew to Milton Abbey from September 2014.
