Millfield Prep Boarders Round Off The Year With End Of Term Trips

16 Aug 2017

The end of term has brought with it bittersweet finales for the boarders at Millfield Prep.

The boys in Champion house rounded off the year with a wilderness trek in the New Forest. Here, the boys spent their last Sunday bonding over paddle boarding, kayaking and tackling the assault course.

All the girls in Hollies house headed off to North Devon for the annual house trip, which involved a visit to the beach and a surf lesson together. Much needed ice creams were devoured on the beach while they played some final games on the sand.

The Chestnut boys went to ‘Ultimate Assault’ in Bideford for their end of term house trip. Here, the boys splashed, scrambled, crawled and bounced their way around a water-based obstacle course. They then had a picnic on Westward Ho before doing a 2 minute beach clean. The day continued at the cinema where they watched the new Transformers movie, and finished the day with dinner at an all-you-can-eat buffet.

Finally, at Edgarley Manor, the boys have figured out a very clever way of using up any leftover chocolate from the tuck cupboard – they made Rice Krispie cakes for the rest of the house as treat!
