Merchant Taylors’ Girls’ School – Badminton Ace Selected for England

Badminton Champion Lizzie Tolman continues to go from strength to strength after being selected once again to represent England, this time in the Under 15 European Championships.

Lizzie, who is in Year 10 at Merchant Taylors’ Girls’ School, was ranked number 1 in her age group when she only 10 years old and won gold for England in the ladies doubles in an international tournament earlier this year.  She will travel to Switzerland in February for the event that is held only once every 2 years. The Championships are by far the most prestigious competition on the junior calendar and she will be part of an elite team of 4 boys and 4 girls.
