Malvern College pupil earns medal in English Youth Fencing Championships

Eliza Woodhouse, 13, fenced in the English Youth Championships in the U15 girls’ epee. After a great pool competition, she fenced tremendously well in the Direct Eliminations and reached the semi-finals. She won a bronze medal, which means she is automatically selected for the England squad for an international competition in Poland next spring, bypassing the usual points accumulation. An incredible achievement, we wish Eliza the best of luck next year.
