Lord Wandsworth College – 14 Year Old Represents Great Britain At Ice Hockey World Championships

Emily Harris, a 14 year old pupil at Lord Wandsworth College, has represented Great Britain at the U18 Women’s Ice Hockey World Championships in Poland.
Playing against Italy, Denmark, Poland, China and Kazakstan, the GB team finished up 4th in the table. Not only was Emily awarded Player of the Game by her team against Denmark, she also received the Great Britain Supporters Club trophy for their Player Of The Tournament.
Headmaster, Adam Williams, said “We’re extremely proud of Emily’s efforts. A lot of hard work and perseverance goes into performing at this level and she is doing fantastically well.”
