LAMDA award winners at Strathallan

In recent exams for LAMDA (the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art), pupils from Strathallan School achieved 52 Distinction awards in Communication and Performance, ranging from the Speaking of Verse and Prose, Reading for Performance, Acting, Devising, Spoken English and Public Speaking. Exams, from Entry Level to Gold Medal, are taken by pupils throughout the School.

Head of LAMDA at Strathallan, Mrs Irene McFarlane said “I see the preparation for these exams as an opportunity for pupils to build their communication skills and self-confidence and am very proud of their continued success in LAMDA exams.”
