KING’S WORCESTER IMPRESS AT PHYSICS OLYMPICS

10 Jun 2020

On Wednesday 16th October a team of four students from the Upper Sixth took part in the Physics Olympics at Malvern College. The day consisted of the team doing six experimental challenges, each with a 25 minute time limit. The day then concluded with a lecture on gravitational wave astronomy given by Dr. Davide Gerosa from the University of Birmingham.

The team of Charlie M, Tom E, Barrett V and Theo O got the best results on two of the six challenges and came overall runners up out of nine teams competing on the day. They all represented King’s excellently so very well done to all involved.

This is actually the second time a team from King’s have been runners up in as many years. We will definitely be returning next year.
