King’s School Canterbury – Rowers to represent Great Britain

In Nottingham, Tom Wingfield and Ian Wingfield continued their winning ways in the J16 pair by coming first and gaining selection to represent Great Britain in Paris for the Great Britain vs. France match on 12th July. This is a remarkable achievement, considering their age and the competitive level of the category.
They are representing the school in the King’s Eight at Henley Royal Regatta, along with James Crawley, Wills Edgar, Ed Connor, Alex Smith, Bear Hastilow, Alex Lapsley and Sacha Tanna (cox), with their first round race being on Wednesday 4th July at 6:45pm, which can be seen live on:
