Student Council Newsletter
In the late Spring term, the Student Council launched their new Student Newsletter. This will be produced weekly in pdf format, and related YouTube content will be displayed on the TV screens located around the school. The most recent newsletter included a summary of what people in England will be able to do during the summer now that lockdown is ending, and details of upcoming sporting events in the UK, including nearby Wimbledon.
End of year BBQ
Students and staff at Kings London got together in the sunshine last week to enjoy an end of year barbecue in the school garden. The catering team did a fantastic job in moving their operations outside for the afternoon and cooking up a delicious lunch in which everyone was catered for.
For many students on our A-level, GCSE and Foundation programmes, the academic year is now over and they are free to enjoy the summer and look forward to the next steps in their academic journey, whether that is starting university in September, or returning to Kings or elsewhere for the next year of their pre-university education.
We want to congratulate all our students on their achievements and resilience this year in challenging circumstances. We’re very proud of you all and can’t wait to hear about your next steps!
