ICS named Top 10 Small Independent IB School in the UK

Each year, this website ranks each of the country’s IB schools based on the IB averages for that year. This year, we are among the top 10 small schools and have been presented with a trophy to mark our success.

This announcement arrives following a year where we saw one of our 2016 IB alumni awarded a place to study mathematics at University of Oxford.

Brenda Murray, ICS Secondary Principal said,

“This really is a trophy for our students who achieved excellent results and is a tribute to our outstanding staff who yet again have brought the very best out of our students.”

Joanna Cooper, the IB Diploma Coordinator, said,

“With our school average score now well above the international average, our students are achieving their first choice university placements both in the UK and internationally. North American applicants are also the beneficiaries of advanced placement and valuable scholarships.”
