Hull Collegiate announces appointment of new Head

Hull Collegiate School today announced the appointment of Mrs Alexandra Wilson to succeed Mrs Rebecca Glover as Head of the School from January 2018.

Mrs Wilson is currently Head of Senior School at North London Collegiate School and will be Acting Headmistress there during the Autumn term. She is a highly talented school leader with subject specialisms including History, Latin, Religious Studies and Philosophy. She has extensive experience in leading on pastoral care, Oxbridge preparation and the professional development of staff.

A graduate of the University of Surrey, Mrs Wilson undertook her PGCE at Queens’ College, Cambridge and has an MA from the University of London in the History of Education. Last year she completed Henley Business School’s Leadership Programme.

Following Mrs Glover’s departure at Christmas, Mrs Wilson will take up post in January but will be spending time here over the coming weeks and months to ensure a smooth transition.  She looks forward to meeting parents, staff and pupils during these visits.
