Holiday Camp Success at Staines Prep

Staines Prep is looking forward to another anticipated bumper turn-out at The Academies holiday camp following the huge success of the inaugural sports and arts-based children’s camp during the recent Easter holidays.
The school was transformed into a hive of holiday activity and saw more than 30 children aged from three to thirteen attending each session over the three week break.
The Academies is designed to encourage fun and creative learning during the school holidays. Offering a host of classes, including Tiny Tots Academies, a multi-activity camp especially designed for three to five year olds, and Sport, Art and Performance Academies for children from six to thirteen – each packed with inspirational and exciting activities with expert tuition. Camps run each holiday throughout the year and bookings have now opened for half-term camp which will run from 27th to 30th May.
The school’s recent £3 million make-over, which now offers brand new flexible, state-of-the-art performance and sporting facilities, makes it the perfect venue for The Academies camps. Ideally located at the Gresham Road site, situated in the Knowle Green area of Staines, it is within easy walking distance of the railway station and bus stops. It also has good parking facilities.
One parent commented: “My daughter had such a great time and she can’t wait to go back in the summer.”
Another said: “My daughter was in a production at the end of the week and I was so proud of what she achieved. We were invited in to watch the show and were so impressed with how much the children had learnt in just a week. It was a lovely end to a great week.”
