HARRY POTTER COMES TO HANDCROSS PARK

15 Mar 2016

Handcross Park was transformed into Hogwarts for World Book Day.  From the moment the children came to school, greeted by Hagrid at Platform 9 3/4 and entering into the main hall with floating candles and talking portraits, they were transported to the magical world of Harry Potter.

With lessons taking a distinctly mystical air, the children were taught Care of Mythical Creatures by Hagrid, Potions by Mad Eye Moody and Professor Sprout with a quick game of quidditch on the tennis courts!

It was a truly amazing day and the children’s imagination were able to run wild during their creative writing lessons – with many of the children stating that they were going home to read the Harry Potter books!
