Faraday School – UK Science Dome takes over the hall!

03 Sep 2019

A HUGE thank you to our Friends of Faraday who funded our visit from Science Dome UK, Nigel set up his ginormous dome in our hall last Tuesday. It was so big it took over the entire hall and meant that lunch eating had to be moved to the roof!

Everyone visited the Dome and learned about earth and space, with Years 1-6 also learning about ‘Under water’. The 360-degree projection propelled us into another world, was engaging and magical all at the same time. The journey through space was very apt as this year commemorates the 50th year anniversary of the first landing on the moon. The blow up planetarium really wowed the children and sparked some very interesting and scientific conversations!
