Bromsgrove School – U13 County Hockey Champions

Congratulations to Bromsgrove’s U13 Girls’ Hockey team who became County Champions this week.

In the group stage, the team beat The Chase 1–0 and Malvern St James 4–0 which took them through to a very close semi-final against RGS Worcester as Group 1 winners. Penalty strokes leading to very tense ‘sudden death’ strokes determined Bromsgrove as the winners, 3-2.

The team displayed great skills in the final against King’s Worcester and were in control throughout the match, with the final score 2–0 to Bromsgrove.

The team is now training for the Regional round which will be played after Christmas. Well played to: Lucy McLoughlin, Beth Lawson, Katie Murray, Hannah Lawson, Megan Langford, Izzy Jones, Anabel Crowder, Ellen Ashton, Katie Rolph and Natasha Malam.
