Anna’s Close Shave

Congratulations to Anna Wilson who has raised an incredible £3,355 for Cancer Research UK by shaving and donating her hair! Her close shave took place at the Anne Veck Hair Salon, where her mother and three close friends, pictured below, supported her.
Alongside her fantastic fundraising, Anna donated sections of her hair to The Little Princess Trust, who specialize in creating wigs for children and teens that have lost their own hair.

Anna commented; “As a teenage girl with insecurities like everyone else I wanted to experience what it is like to be young and be without your hair, which is something so important to our identity, especially when we are young and vulnerable.”
