Southbank International School, Westminster – Student Achievement & Making a Difference
21 Aug 2019
We are exceptionally proud of one of our Grade 10 students, Arabella Greve, for her Personal Project.
The Personal Project is a culmination of the skills learned throughout the MYP where students are able to explore in great detail a particular topic of interest to them.
Arabella’s Personal Project involved her writing a book entitled ‘Search for the Hero Inside your Cells’ encouraging young people to join the stem cell register to potentially save lives. ‘Giving to Help Others’ is a charity run by Team Margot in partnership with NHS Blood and Transplant. The charity provides educational resources for schools about the need for blood, stem cell, and organ donors. Not only was Arabella’s Personal Project a truly inspiring one, but her book has been requested for use as a digital download in UK schools for students moving into secondary school.
We couldn’t be prouder of the hard work put in by Arabella and the marvellous outcome she has achieved. Well done Arabella! Truly making a difference!
