A MIDWIFE CRISIS AT SPRINGFIELD

Our first festive play was performed by Year One and Two. A midwife was having trouble finding a new born baby and his parents who might need her.  She was helped by her intelligent donkey, Steve. As they travelled around looking for this new born king they looked for help from some very efficient census collectors, an innkeeper and his wife, three shepherds and their sheep, three regal kings, their handsome royal narrator and their camel, beautiful angels and a shiny star.  Eventually with the guidance from the narrators she arrived at the stable to meet Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus. The story  was told through words, songs and dance.  Well done to everyone. It was a fantastic way to start our run up to Christmas.
