Malvern College run new Elite Cricket training programme
20 Feb 2013
Worcestershire County Cricket Club is assisting Malvern College in the running of their Elite Cricket training programme at the College’s Cricket Centre on 3 occasions a week throughout the winter training period. Steve Rhodes (Worcestershire CCC Director of Cricket), Damian D’Oliveria (Academy Director) and Mat Mason (Worcestershire CCC Bowling coach) have been working alongside the College’s own Head Coach Noel Brett, to provide specialist batting, bowling and wicket keeping clinics this winter for the school’s best cricketers. Recently returned from a tour of South Africa, these cricketers now have the opportunity to demonstrate their talents and improve their skills under the direction of the top coaches in the professional game. This elite coaching course is a development within the existing partnership the school has established with Worcestershire CCC.
