Malvern College – Hereford & Worcester Fencing Open Championship

Polly Woodhouse, Rebecca Wakefield and Roshan Goodger represented Malvern College in the first major Hereford and Worcester Open Championship Fencing tournament, held at Malvern College.

Senior fencers were mixed with the over 14 years old age group, and the girls fenced against some of the most famous world-class fencing champions. Polly fenced very well with pure intellectual manoeuvres in epee, while Rebecca fenced epee against both Seniors and Cadet and won the U17 Gold First Prize. Roshan in Saber took the Gold First Prize for best U17 in the championship for Hereford and Worcester.
