The book launch of ‘Then Sings My Soul’ Kent College Choristers and their music, written by Rod Spencer, was held at the Kent College Chapel on Friday. A drinks reception and a short performance by Kent College Choristers past and present took place on Friday 16th November to celebrate the achievements of the Kent College Choristers under the inspirational direction of Jackie Spencer. ‘Then Sings My Soul’ is a splendid book of anthems, carols and songs composed and arranged by Rod Spencer for the Choir. With photographs, names of all the Choristers over the years and their tours and awards- this book will be a repository of musical memories for many families and could make the perfect Christmas gift! The hugely successful Kent College Choristers have achieved an exceptional record of achievements recently with appearances on our TV screens as finalists in the BBC’s 2018 Songs of Praise ‘Junior Choir of the Year’, as well as runners-up in the prestigious Barnardo’s National Choral Competition at London’s Royal Festival Hall. The book is available for £9.99 at the School Office. Payment by either cash or cheque.
