Faraday School – James and the Giant Peach by Years 3 & 4

30 Apr 2018

On Tuesday 20th March, Years 3 & 4 performed James and the Giant Peach, to a hugely entertained audience. All the hard work Miss Ellie had thrown into her drama lessons really paid off, as the children created some very believable characters. This brilliant interpretation of Roald Dahl’s classic tale, about a boy and his adventures inside a ginormous peach with a group of insects, had the audience enthralled throughout. The costumes that the parents had put together added terrific colour as we were taken on a roller coaster ride of fear and excitement; from the terrifying clutches of Aunts Sponge and Spiker, to bobbing up and down on the ocean inside the peach and finishing with the wild celebration scenes in New York City. Well done Years 3 & 4 on a thoroughly engaging performance!
