Ballet Success for Wellington Pupil

06 Oct 2015

A pupil from Wellington School has had significant success in her ballet career, which will help her with university applications.

Bryony Steele-Perkins in Year 12 has enjoyed significant success with her ballet. She took two exams in July, Grade 8 ballet and Intermediate ballet for which she gained a Distinction for both.

Intermediate is a vocational exam set apart from the graded exams and taken by dancers at specialist ballet schools so it is a great achievement.

This is especially valuable as both these exams are worth 20 UCAS points each, so will aid her university applications. She already has a distinction in Grade 6 and Grade 7 ballet which also attract 12 & 16 UCAS points respectively.

Bryony is studying for her A-levels at Wellington School.
