St Edmund’s College celebrates exam results

30 Sep 2014

St Edmund’s College achieved impressive A level results this year with 32% of all entries being graded A or A*, 6% higher than the national average which for the first time in 30 years has seen a slight dip. 62% were awarded at A* to B.

The Headmaster, Mr Paulo Durán, said:

“With over 62% of our students achieving A* – B grades and 32% A* to A in a year that has seen a national dip I am proud of the achievements of the students. It shows that they balance the academic demands of A levels at St Edmund’s with the many other opportunities that the College offers them through Duke of Edinburgh, Combined Cadet Forces, sport and much more which ensures that each individual fulfils his or her own personal potential. The staff have worked hard to ensure that this cohort can go on to the next stage in their lives prepared for the many opportunities and challenges that will await them.”

Congratulations to all of our students.
