Farlington School – Cricket Awards for Harriet Fryer

Farlington’s Harriet Fryer won the Best Fielder award for the second year running on Friday 5th September at the annual end of season awards ceremony at Cranleigh Cricket Club.
The junior boys and girls play every Friday evening during the cricket season. The girls’ cricket is developing with many more girls participating and more matches played.
Harriet also won the Ace of the Week Award at the Andrew Flintoff Cricket Academy in London during the summer for demonstrating great sportsman like qualities along with skill and ability. She now has the opportunity to travel to Manchester to Old Trafford to watch a game, play a quick game of cricket during the interval and meet Andrew Flintoff himself.
Harriet, 15, says, ‘I am very excited to have won these awards and I can’t wait to see what my cricketing future may bring as it is definitely a sport I thoroughly enjoy and recommend to everyone.’
